Galimore Pool closed for repairs

During a storm yesterday afternoon that damaged an electrical pump, St Augustine Family YMCA reported to local Historic City News reporters that the pool at the Willie Galimore Center had to be closed.

Paul Williamson, Public Affairs Director for the City of St Augustine, has informed us that on Saturday, June 29, the necessary repairs should be complete in order for the pool to reopen during normal operating hours.

St Augustine Family YMCA operates the new pool under contract from the City. For information about the closing or to verify a return to normal hours of operation, call 904.471.9622.
