City employees at the Historic Downtown Parking Facility reported to Historic City News and police, another case of vandalism with graffiti this time at two locations; an elevator door and on the second floor, near the elevator.
Yesterday, we reported on damage sustained to freshly painted walls at Arnett Heating and Air; today’s vandalism was made with red paint, drawn in a circle with a “V” in the middle and “the 5th of November” written out.
Vandalism of the same type, including similar markings and red paint, was also discovered at The Winery; located at 157 King Street. The investigation of all graffiti vandalism is continuing, according to police spokesman, Mark Samson.
At 41 San Marco Avenue in Uptown St Augustine, air conditioning parts were reported as stolen or missing from the business.
Two homeless men were arrested by police; Adam Jordon was taken into custody on an open St Johns County arrest warrant; and, John Willits, a registered sexual offender, was arrested for failing to properly register his residence address,
Another St Johns County arrest warrant was served by police against Sam King, who resides on North 8th Street, in St Augustine.
