State Attorney RJ Larizza informed local Historic City News reporters today that 32-year-old Michael Louis McIntosh was convicted on all charges that he sexually abused and molested boys under the age of 12 that trusted him and spent time at his home located at 7501 SR-13 North in St Johns County.
Prosecutors Chris France and Joanna Piscitello proved that McIntosh committed the criminal acts during various incidents that occurred between January 1, 2004 and October 31, 2008. After the two day trial that began on Wednesday, the jury convicted McIntosh within an hour of deliberating.
Michael Louis McIntosh was convicted of five counts of Sexual Battery on Person Less than 12 Years of Age, each a capital felony; Lewd or Lascivious Molestation Victim Less than 12 Years of Age, a first degree felony; Lewd or Lascivious Conduct Victim Less than 12 Years of Age, a second degree felony; and Lewd or Lascivious Molestation Victim Less than 12 Years of Age, a first degree felony.
The sentencing hearing has been scheduled before Circuit Judge Howard M. Maltz on Friday, January 25th at 10:30 am. McIntosh faces up to life in prison.
