Every year, Historic City News reader Jennifer White, and her family, host a free Thanksgiving Dinner at their restaurant, O.C. White’s Seafood & Spirits; to show their thanks for everything the seniors and staff at the Council on Aging do for the St Augustine community.
Sisters, Jennifer and Julie White, draw from their own experience to hope that, if you have a senior in your life, you spend as much time with them as you can.
“Our mother and grandmother, Catherine ‘Miss Lucy’ Harding, would go to the Council on Aging, to sing at the piano with Herb,” Jennifer White told Historic City News. “We miss her so much and this is one small way we remember her and thank everyone at the COA, especially Cathy Brown, for taking such good care of her for 8 years.”
