St. Augustine’s 60th Annual Christmas Parade ushered in the holiday season for local Historic City News readers with floats, marching bands, cars, horses, and the arrival of Santa.
The parade, one of the largest in North Florida, started promptly at 10:00 a.m. this morning at the Mission of Nombre de Dios.
Holiday decorations adorned all the entries, from floats to marching bands. Lots of local organizations participated in this fun filled event. Visitors and locals alike come down to the Historic District to watch the procession.
The parade wound down behind the Visitors Center at 10 West Castillo Drive. After the parade, everyone stopped by the Plaza de la Constitucion to have pictures taken with Santa.
