Alice in Wonderland presented by A Classic Theatre

Anne Kraft tells Historic City News in St Augustine that A Classic Theatre, Inc. is kicking off their entry into the Romanza Festivale in May with the presentation of Alice in Wonderland; Lewis Carroll’s classic — with a twist.

In The Manhattan Theatre Project’s version of the familiar adventures of a young girl named Alice, whose curiosity leads her to follow the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole, Wonderland is a world filled with strange and whimsical characters who lead Alice on a darkly, hilarious adventure.

Performances are May 12th and May 13th at 7:30 p.m. in the Gamache-Koger Theatre in Flagler College’s Ringhaver Student Center located at 50 Sevilla Street in downtown St Augustine.

“This concert-style performance will feature many familiar St. Augustine actors who will be involved in shaping the performance,” Jean Rahner told local reporters. “Imagery, courtesy of the AMIRO Art and Found gallery on historic Aviles Street, will accompany each performance.”
