After a brief presentation, the audience will have an opportunity to participate in a one-on-one question-and-answer session with those city officials who are managing the various aspects of the final 450th event.
“We still are interested in hearing ideas or concerns from residents as we continue nailing down the details and gathering input from neighborhood residents and merchants,” event planner Julee Cooke told Historic City News local reporters.
Tuesday’s town hall will be held at the Visitor Information Center, located at 10 West Castillo Drive, starting at 6:00 p.m. The Celebrate 450! is scheduled for September 4-8, 2015.
Cooke said the “Frequently Asked Questions” page on the commemoration website, StAugustine-450.com, has proven both popular and helpful to the community. Cooke credits the convenience of 24-hour access and the quality of the up-to-date information for the success.
The final community town hall will be held at Blackfly Restaurant, 108 Anastasia Boulevard on Tuesday, July 14 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Each of the town halls is open to the public and has been set in a different location around the city to promote convenient access by the entire community.
