Workshop called for Beach Planning and Zoning Board

The City of St. Augustine Beach Planning & Zoning Board has scheduled an open community workshop for Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall, 2200 A1A South, St. Augustine Beach. (corner of 16th St. and A1A)

Recent changes in zoning regulations have reduced front, rear and side yard setbacks for new home construction. These changes allow for greater bulk, more concrete and less green space regarding new home construction, and reduced views, less light, fewer trees, more concrete spaces to accommodate more cars and an increase in vehicular traffic for the existing neighboring homes.
