Summer rains forced the postponement of two performances during the free summer music series, Concerts in the Plaza. The City of St Augustine has rescheduled the performances for back-to-back nights in mid-September.
The 28th season wrapped up Thursday evening, but it’s not over yet. Historic City News readers are invited to return to the Plaza de la Constitución in downtown St. Augustine on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, September 12th and 13th, for the make-up performances.
“Rob Ellis Peck and Friends” is set for Wednesday, September 12th, and “The Session” will perform the following night, Thursday, September 13th. Both two-hour performances begin at 7:00 p.m.
These two concerts will complete the 14-show schedule for 2018 that saw the return of some of the series’ most popular musicians and the introduction of others that were well received by the Thursday night audiences.
The Concerts in the Plaza series, produced annually by the City of St. Augustine, features more than 50 musicians from across the region and draws audiences of both residents and visitors all summer long.
