FIREWORKS CELEBRATION
A fireworks display is held on July 2 at the Walk of Champions at World Golf Village, located off I-95 at exit

FOURTH OF ZOO-LY JAMBOREE
An Independence Day jamboree is held July 3, 4 and 5 on Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens’ Great Lawn, 370 Zoo Parkway, Jacksonville. Prizes, live animal encounters, potato sack and egg relay races, and Uncle Sam are featured. Admission is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors, $8 for kids ages 3-12 and free for kids younger than 3. VETERANS MEMORIAL ARENA
Ice skating, arts and crafts, face-painting and interactive games are featured from noon-9 p.m. on July 3, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. on July 4 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on July 5 at Veterans Memorial Arena, 300 Randolph Blvd., Jacksonville. Admission is $3, which includes skate rental. 630-3900.
BEACH BASH
A buffet, live entertainment, games and fireworks are featured from 6-9 p.m. on July 4 at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, 4750 Amelia Island Parkway, Amelia Island. Reservations are required. Admission is $75 for adults, $35 for children. 277-1028.
SOUNDS ON CENTRE

FREEDOM FESTIVAL
The Stars & Stripes Freedom Festival is held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on July 4 at Central Park, 1100 Atlantic Ave., Fernandina Beach. Touch-a-Truck safety display, a lookalike contest and an apple pie contest are featured. Face For Radio performs. A fireworks show is held at 9:30 p.m. 753-4467.
FT. CLINCH UNION GARRISON
Living history interpreters recreate fort life, including powder artillery demonstrations and marching drills, during the Civil War on July 4 and 5 at Fort Clinch State Park, 2601 Atlantic Ave., Fernandina Beach. 277-7274.
LIBERTY CELEBRATION
This celebration, featuring live music and fireworks, is held from 6-10 p.m. on July 4 at SeaWalk Pavilion, First Street and First Avenue North, Jacksonville Beach. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m. 247-6100 ext. 3.
FREEDOM, FANFARE & FIREWORKS
The city of Jacksonville celebrates the Fourth with a free concert by Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo and Richard Marx at 4 p.m. on July 4 at Metropolitan Park, 1410 Gator Bowl Blvd., Jacksonville. The fireworks show Skyblast is held at 9:45 p.m. 630-3690.
FREEDOM RIDE
Freedom Ride 2009 kicks off at 2:30 p.m. (check-in 11 a.m.) on July 4 starting at Adamec Harley-Davidson,
8909 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville and ending at Metropolitan Park. Cost is $35 per rider, $25 per passenger. Tickets are required for admittance. Proceeds benefit the city of Jacksonville’s Military and Veteran Services. 630-3690.
CELEBRATE THE FOURTH
