Police responded to “Styles by Megan” at 9 Anastasia Boulevard on Tuesday morning to investigate a report of a burglary to the business according to a report received by the local St. Augustine news desk at Historic City News.
The business owner reported to St. Augustine Police Officer Matt Mitchell that when she arrived at her store, she noticed the back door had been kicked in.
As the owner entered, she discovered that the office door was off its hinges and part of a lighting system, which resembled a security system, had been taken down.
The owner reported that nothing appeared to be missing and that there was no cash kept in the store.
The approximate damage done to the store is $350.
Evidence was taken from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
