Canadian homebuilder, Mattamy Homes, recently acquired 100 new-home sites at Kelly Pointe at Nocatee in St Johns County saying it will begin construction of two model homes immediately.
The homes at Kelly Pointe will be priced in the low $200k’s according to an announcement from Mattamy Homes US Group’s President, Steve Parker.
Parker, formerly Vice President at Arvida/JMB Real Estate Developers for ten years, then, President of Morrison Homes until mid-2007, told reporters the company has annual revenues exceeding $1.3 billion and is the largest and most active homebuilder in Canada.
Mattamy has been building homes in the United States since 2003 and has divisions in five (5) major US markets; including Jacksonville.
Mattamy Homes will be building new three-, four- and five-bedroom homes at Kelly Pointe ranging in size from 1,900 square feet to 2,700 square feet of living space.
Parker hopes to have the two model homes open in August.
