Adults and teens age 14+ are invited to attend the Project Lap Blanket crochet group. We will crochet or knit blankets for cancer patients at area hospitals. All skill levels are welcome. Can’t attend? Pick up a pattern at the library, crochet in your spare time and drop it off. Drop off any yarn you’d like to donate during regular library hours.

Knit in Public Day

Teen Craft Program: Decorate Your Own Book Bag
Thursday, June 21 @ 2 pm – You can always use another tote! Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to show off their style by decorating their own canvas book bag. These bags are fun to design and can be used over and over again, and would make a great gift. Canvas bags and decorating materials are supplied by the Friends of the Library.
International Affairs Discussion Group & Book Club
Thursday, June 21 @ 6:30 pm – The International Affairs Discussion Group will meet to discuss international current events. The discussion will be moderated by Joseph Warner, retired U.S. diplomat and adjunct professor of Geography and International Relations at UNF.
