Laurie Sanderson reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
State Road 207:Daytime shoulder closures for delivery of equipment and materials to construct a multi-use trail from Armstrong Road to Old State Road 207 in Spuds.
State Road 312: Boaters should be aware that the vertical clearance beneath the bridge is reduced by four feet. The time frame for the vertical clearance reduction has been extended and is now anticipated to continue through mid-August. Traffic has been shifted on the eastbound lanes of the Mickler-O’Connell Bridge over the Matanzas River. Motorists should use caution while driving in the area as crews repair and repaint the bridge. Pedestrians are advised to avoid the east bridge.
State Road 312: Nighttime lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. at US 1 for turn lane construction by St. Johns County. Questions may be directed to Project Manager Greg Caldwell in the St. Johns County Engineering Division at (904) 209-0132 orgcaldwell@sjcfl.us.
State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez while crews repaint the roadway markings.
State Road A1A: Daytime southbound lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from the Alligator Farm to State Road 312 for tree trimming.
US 1: Nighttime lane closures for southbound traffic from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the San Sebastian River Bridge from Saragossa Street to King Street for the bridge replacement project. Traffic has been shifted and the left turn lane removed onto eastbound King Street for southbound US 1 traffic.
