Board member Steve Fricke has invited Historic City News readers to attend the 7th Annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser presented by the Kiwanis Club of Historic St Augustine on Saturday October 13, 2012.
Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Allegro; located on Plantation Island Drive on the east end of the SR-312 bridge.
“Kiwanis International is composed of 250,000 members in 125 countries,” said Fricke, who is the St Augustine Police Department Community Resources Commander. “Proceeds from the pancake breakfast will be used to support local children’s programs.”
Kiwanis Club members will be selling advance tickets for $5. At the door, the price is $6 for the popular pancake and sausage breakfast — upgrade to a full breakfast for an additional $2 donation.
The Kiwanis Club of Historic St Augustine holds its regular weekly meetings at 7:00 a.m. every Thursday at the Village Inn, 900 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St Augustine.
