Local man missing since September 21st

Detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office are seeking a missing St. Johns County man according to Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw in a media release received by Historic City News this afternoon.

The man, identified as Mark Edward Garvey, was last seen by his wife on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at his home in the 500 block of Willow Walk Place. Kelshaw says that Garvey’s cell phone has had no activity since September 22nd.

Garvey was last seen driving his white 2002 Ford van with a Florida tag of J71-2MZ.

The missing man is described as a white male, 49 years of age. He is 5’9” tall and weighs 175 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes and was considered depressed.

The Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone coming into contact with this individual please contact Detective Tim Rollins at (904) 824-8304.
