Florida Youth in Government State Assembly
This past weekend, high school students from St Johns and Clay chapters of the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast Delegation joined over 700 students who traveled to our state capitol to take part in the 56th annual Florida Youth in Government State Assembly.



John Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (made in Japan) for 6:00 a.m. while his coffeepot (made in China) was perking. He shaved with his electric razor (made in Hong Kong).
Historic City News was notified that topics such as bullying, cyber-bullying, peer pressure, raising morally responsible children, cliques and relationship aggression will be covered during the second-of-three sessions that are part of the “Community Empowerment Series”.
