I wrote to St Augustine City Manager, John Regan to urge him to take a big step back from his plans to engage with Shawn Heister to build an aquarium at Riberia Point. If this feels like déjà vu to each of you, it feels that way to me, too.

prevent-child-abuse-awarenessAlthough no sentencing date has been set, yesterday, St Johns County resident 23-year-old Christopher Scott O’Brien, II, entered a plea of guilty to charges that he was engaged in receiving child pornography over the Internet. He is facing a mandatory minimum penalty of 5 years, up to 20 years in federal prison, and a potential life term of supervision.
