According to booking records at the St. Johns County jail, Morris Steinheimer was arrested near the intersection of A1A Ocean Avenue and A Street by officers with the St. Augustine Beach Police Department about 2:15 on Saturday, March 29, 2008.
“It is unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale, compensation or donation, or rent or offer for rent, goods, wares, merchandise, food stuffs, refreshments, or other kinds of property or services upon the streets, alleys, sidewalks, parks and other public places within historic preservation zoning districts HP-2 and HP-3.”

The father of a burglary victim is being credited with helping the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office track down a suspect in the case that played out over two counties in January.
“Our detectives have been investigating the case and getting leads since the incident happened Jan. 24.” Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Kelshaw said Friday.
The new Southeast Annex, serving the citizens of southern St. Johns County, is complete and ready for operation.
Residents of southeast St. Johns County now will be able to register their automobiles, pay their taxes, secure drivers licenses, and conduct all the other activities normally handled at the Main Tax Collector’s Office located on Lewis Speedway.
