Operation No Treats launched Wednesday

St. Johns County Sheriff David B. Shoar reported to Historic City News that his office has launched operation “No Treats” Wednesday afternoon; following the implementation of County Ordinances that were developed in early October.

Randy Brunson announced to Historic City News on Monday that he has filed with the Supervisor of Elections office to run as a candidate for St. Johns County Commission, District 2.

Florida Memorial students to be recognized

Historic City News has learned that a special ceremony is scheduled to be held Saturday, November 14th which promises to be “the first step” in an effort to create a renaissance of local interest in area history including Florida Memorial College; now known as Florida Memorial University.

According to a report received by Historic City News, St. Augustine city commissioners will retire a relatively light meeting agenda Monday night; however, they will face a heavier workshop agenda the following morning.
