Gospel night in Lincolnville this Friday
Sister Sonya Jones, Director of the Saint Paul Evangelistic Outreach Ministry, has invited Historic City News readers to attend a gospel night event this Friday, October 7th beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church located at 85 M.L. King Avenue in St. Augustine.

The St. Augustine Report, a publication written by former Mayor – Commissioner George Gardner for the Public Affairs Department of the city, has lost its funding in this year’s budget, however, the newsletter will continue to be distributed, according to the author.
Greek Festival returns for 14th year
In conjunction with the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church’s 14th annual Greek Festival on Saturday, October 8th, Historic City News has learned that there will be a fun run through downtown St. Augustine starting at 9:00 a.m. and concluding by 10:00 a.m.
Bridge of Lions closed to replace markings
Gina Busscher told Historic City News reporters that the Bridge of Lions on State Road A1A in St. Augustine is scheduled to be closed to all traffic Tuesday night (October 4) beginning at 10:00 p.m. and reopening by 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
