Historic City News was informed that 63-year-old Sheryl Smith of East Palatka is facing two charges today after she crashed into a motorcycle while turning left into the Target parking lot from US-1 just before 9:00 p.m. last night.
Historic City News learned that yesterday, Thursday September 28th at approximately 9:00 a.m., Officer Wayne R Ferrell, an investigator with the St Augustine Police Department, served a search warrant at a residence located at 205 Spring Street in St Augustine.

To provide additional Hurricane Irma relief services, the Hastings Branch Library reported to Historic City News that they will open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2nd.
The North Beach Hurricane Irma Assistance Center will be open on tomorrow and Sunday, September 30th and October 1st from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the North Beach Community Center located at 3101 First Street, Saint Augustine, FL 32084.
