Another St Johns County home invasion reported

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that at least two home invasion robbers are being sought at this time in connection with a home invasion that occurred at a residence on Scrub Jay Drive Tuesday evening.

St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau Communications Director Jay Humphreys has advised local Historic City News reporters that this weekend holds many entertaining and enjoyable activities — featuring brilliant lighted displays aboard a holiday regatta of vessels.

Victim knocks out burglar

In a twist of fate, Historic City News learned that when a burglar confronted the owner of the van he was looting early Sunday morning, he should have never thrown a punch — by the time Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene, they found the burglar unconscious on the lawn.

Mica confirmed as committee chairman

Justin Harclerode reported to Historic City News that U.S. Representative John L. Mica was confirmed by vote of the House Republican Conference today to serve as Chairman of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure in the 112th Congress.
