City of St. Augustine Public Affairs contact Cathy DuPont, has asked Historic City News to remind everyone that in order to maintain the consistent quality and professional standards of the Nights of Lights, the City has enacted ordinances relating to the displays.

Historic City News has received the general guidelines for participation in the City of St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights.

Sacha Martin has reported to Historic City News that Santa’s Pre-Flight Check List Concert will be held at the Amphitheater on Saturday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m.

Karen Pan, Office of Public Affairs for St. Johns County, reported to Historic City News that all offices of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners and all St. Johns County Public Libraries will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2008, in observance of Veterans Day.

The St. Augustine Airport will be the site for The Wings of Freedom Tour of the WWII Vintage Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator and North American P-51 Mustang from November 7th through November 9th according to an announcement received by Historic City News on yesterday.

Historic City News has learned that Sheriff’s detectives and U.S. Marshals are seeking a 46-year old St. Johns County man in connection with a homicide that occurred nearly 18 years ago.
