Historic City News has learned that on November 22, a single flick of a switch will bring the 15th annual edition of the Nights of Lights to life and create a magical holiday atmosphere in St. Augustine according to Jay Humphreys, Communications Director for the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau.

Historic City News has learned that international recording artist Art Garfunkel will team up with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra for a one-time only performance at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Sunday, February 8, 2009.
The City of St. Augustine has asked Historic City News do anything we can to mention that Project Swing will be closed to the public Saturday morning; since this is a popular area for kids and outings on the weekends.
