Cindy Hollingsworth informed Historic City News on behalf of the Airport Authority that the following conditions exist as of 5:00 p.m. this evening.

State Attorney John Tanner had the 7th Circuit Court issue a warrant today for the arrest of Tropical Storm Fay alleging that “with willful intent and malice aforethought” Fay has destroyed literally hundreds of his political campaign signs — signs which Tanner warned were not to be tampered with or vandalized.
St. Johns County has announced to Historic City News this revised schedule for garbage collection:
No garbage will be collected on Friday, August 22, due to severe weather.

Dear Friends, Neighbors and St.Johns County residents and Business Owners:
I am up for re-election this August with an opponent in the primary. I have learned a great deal during this first term. I am asking for your support for a second term. I believe the next 4 years will be a time of challenge and opportunity. If you want information about my campaign and platform, please visit my website: www.votecyndi.com

EMERGENCY OPERATIONS NUMBERS AND WEBSITE:
Hope you are safe and dry-as Fay heads out of town. Many people I have spoken to have been staying home watching the Summer Olympic essential service workers in health care-water utility-and emergency services have been shifted into overtime working 12 to 16 hour shifts to help us weather this storm.

Damage Assessment Reports in St. Johns County:
The County is asking Historic City News to inform residents that if any property owner has property damage from Tropical Storm Fay, to please call the citizen hotline at 824-5550 to report the damage.
