Appeals Court affirms District ruling of 4th Amendment violations
An order received by Historic City News, dated April 8th, confirmed that two St Johns County deputy sheriffs, Sergeant Brian Canova and Detective Thomas Marmo, failed to convince the US Court of Appeals, to overturn the judgment of the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida in a lawsuit brought against them by a St Johns County attorney and her client.

Historic City News received word from Commander Charles E. Mulligan this morning that when four St Johns County deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 8300 block of Colee Cove Road around 10:30 p.m. last night, they were met by a woman outside of her residence who reported that she was the victim of abuse.

The St Johns County Public Library System is encouraging Historic City News readers to visit next week, between April 13-19; and, enjoy special events, friendly and helpful staff and the amazing resources we have to offer to the people of St Johns County.
