NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the St. Johns County Insurance Committee will hold a meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2013 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Supervisor of Elections Training Room, 4455 Avenue A, # 101, St. Augustine, FL 32095.
A diesel spill from a sailboat that crashed into the Bridge of Lions today has St Augustine Vice-Mayor Nancy Sikes-Kline calling for the city to find a way to stop these accidents from being allowed to happen, according to televised reports followed by Historic City News.
St Augustine City Clerk, Alison Ratkovic, has provided Historic City News an updated agenda for next week’s joint meeting of the St Johns County Commission and St Augustine City Commission in a joint workshop.
St Johns County Fire Rescue spokesman, Matthew Sara, reported to Historic City News that at about 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, firefighters and emergency medical personnel responded to a home in the 5000 block of Big Oak Road South; in a neighborhood west of the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St Augustine.
The downtown streets will become the course for the St Augustine Half Marathon this weekend, November 16-17; when thousands of participants from across the United States, and even internationally, participate in the family-oriented event to benefit Project Autism of St Johns.
