Fair Food threatens to picket Chamber breakfast
Representatives from the Gainesville Interfaith Alliance for Immigrant Justice told Historic City News reporters that they intend to picket tomorrow’s Annual St Johns County Chamber of Commerce Membership Breakfast to express disappointment with the Chamber’s chosen topic and guest of honor.

Last week, 64 year-old Ponte Vedra Beach resident Robert Wayne Flemister, who once owned San Marco Auction Company LLC in St Augustine, was arrested; then released after posting a $10,000 appearance bond — insuring his return to face third-degree felony charges stemming from the way he handled customer’s money and property.
St Augustine residents Don and Susan Locklin shared a goal to build on their local mobile vending business; and, one day, to open a brick and mortar restaurant — with assistance from the University of North Florida’s Small Business Development Center, they achieved that goal last month.
Beau Phillips announced that Dwaine Stevens would make a feature presentation to members of the St Johns County Chamber of Commerce at their upcoming Annual Membership Breakfast on Wednesday, February 29th.
