Chamber and EDC to hold Annual Dinner
New president Kirk Wendland told Historic City News local reporters that he is ready to be part of a new beginning at the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council and is looking forward to his formal welcome at this year’s annual dinner.


Barbara B. Jenness announced to Historic City News the formation of a new business council lead by professionals interested in promoting the St. Augustine region to individuals outside the area.
Historic City News was informed Friday evening that St. Johns County based Haven Trust Bank Florida, with offices in St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra Beach, has been taken over by a South Florida bank in a Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. assisted deal.
Paul Studivant, the Division Chief of St. Johns County Animal Control, addressed the Southwest Business Council according to a report received by Historic City News from St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce President, Kirk Wendland.
Kizzy Van Tine reported to Historic City News that the St. Augustine Regional Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS will host its monthly mixer, Monday September 27th at 109 Casa Sevilla Avenue in St. Augustine from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
