Since it’s December 1950 re-opening of the Castle Warden Hotel as “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!”, Ripley Entertainment, Inc. has continued it’s investment in making St. Augustine a premier tourism destination. 58 years later, they are still at it.

At a special retirement ceremony in honor of over 8 years of dedicated service to the citizens of St. Johns County, Historic City Media was there with Sheriff David Shoar, K-9 Handler Deputy Doug Kowieski and City Commissioner Frank Charles to recognize a third generation police canine named “Justice”.

This afternoon, Historic City News was invited to a live demonstration of the latest lifesaving tool now available to 150 local law enforcement officers thanks to a generous donation from a local car dealership – Bozard Ford.
