I believe that the key to rebuilding our local economy is encouraging small businesses to make their home in St. Augustine. Be leery of federal government retirees who have spent their careers creating more and more red tape that only discourages small businesses. If you agree, then you need to vote for Michael Gold.

Artists, really? I’m downtown everyday and I’ve yet to see any artists down there. All I see is a bunch of lazy, smelly, worthless weirdo’s begging for handouts. Keep going city, get rid of the trash.

Dear Editor, We, at St. Gerard Campus, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Jaguar Football Team for including us as a grant recipient this year.

Dear editor: In a recent article that appeared on the Florida Times-Union website, “Freedomworks” was called a “Key Tea Party Group”.

As you know, our City Commissioners have co-opted the Charleston Code that regulates the carriage businesses up there, and are determined, despite growing opposition, to force it on the carriage trade here.
