A self-interest group, appointed by another appointed board, selects a paid consultant from out-of-town and manages the overall evaluation process themselves.
You don’t have to drive in St. Augustine traffic too long before you encounter someone stopped at a green light, driving 20 mph in mid-day traffic along Ponce de Leon Boulevard, or, my personal favorite, riding side-by-side at the same speed as the adjacent driver — effectively blocking both traffic lanes.

The St. Johns County Commission enacted a new Alarm Ordinance that went into effect in early April of this year. There were several reasons for this ordinance that I would like to tell you about this month as well as information concerning this ordinance.
Well … here we are, yet another Memorial Day.
I’ll be joining friends and comrades at the VFW later on this afternoon.
It’ll be sad and happy at the same time.

Monday morning at 10:00 a.m., there will be a Memorial Day commemoration service held at Saint Augustine National Cemetery on Marine Street.
