Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that one St. Johns County teenager was arrested and another is being sought in connection with an incident that occurred Monday afternoon in West Augustine.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit reported to Historic City News that they will be conducting both Safety and Sobriety Checkpoints over the next two weeks at various locations throughout St. Johns County.

Historic City News is responding to a request from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office to help locate a man who is being sought for questioning in connection with a suspicious incident that occurred earlier last month in Vermont Heights.

Historic City News has learned that the 23-year old mother of two young children, who allowed their father to watch them and then passed out a week ago, was charged with child neglect today.

As part of their efforts to keep this holiday season safe, Historic City News has learned that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in Operation “Stay Alive on 95” beginning June 30th.

Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Homicide Unit have arrested a 30-year old St. Johns County man today on a charges of negligent manslaughter and neglect of a child.
