Historic City News has learned that the property and the facility at the Primrose School in northern St. Johns County sold last month for $2.4 million, according to public records, but still remains under the same ownership.
The school at 180 Gateway Circle in St. Johns Forest off of County Road 210 in northern St. Johns County sold February 17th to KSM School Property LLC.
Jacksonville Business Journal is reporting that the owners of the property said in an emailed response that the transaction was only the finalization of the sale under the requirements under the Small Business Association loan.
Ken and Susan Muller, who have operated the facility since 2007, said in the Business Journal article that the transaction will have no impact on the school’s operation or its faculty, staff or students.
Primrose Schools provide childhood education and child care services in more than 200 schools in 16 states, including the St. Johns Forest location along with locations on Fleming Island and Julington Creek.
