Fight sends victim to hospital and two to jail
Local St. Augustine reporters at Historic City News have learned that in the wee hours after midnight on Saturday morning, Police Officer Michael Linsky observed Donald Kaylor chasing another white male through traffic in the area of King Street and Cordova Street.

How big will the Wendler lawsuit be?
Historic City News reporters watched as the clock was running out on the City to respond to Scott and Donna Wendler’s claim that the City created an undue burden on them, however, city officials and commissioners are still not willing to allow the property owners to demolish the buildings necessary to build the 80-room boutique hotel on King Street that they envisioned.

Sheriff: Keep Halloween Safe
St. Johns County Sheriff David B. Shoar told Historic City News today that his office will be stepping up patrols for Halloween on October 31st in an effort to keep area youngsters safe as they go trick-or-treating in their local neighborhoods.

Suspect in Publix liquor store robbery nabbed
A citizen tip generated during the manhunt for a robbery suspect in connection with Thursday’s armed robbery of Publix Liquors at Tuscan Way near Mill Creek has resulted in the apprehension of a 34 year-old St. Johns County man.

A new attempt to fix King and Cordova intersection
Historic City News local reporters were notified that the City of St. Augustine will be making improvements in signage, traffic lights and the installation of quick-curbs, in an effort to help relieve traffic congestion at the intersection of King and Cordova streets.
