Arrest made in high school bomb threat
Historic City News local reporters have learned that a St. Johns County teenager was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with making a false bomb threat against her high school the day before.
County offices closed for furlough and holiday
Public Affairs Specialist Karen Pan reported to Historic City News local St. Johns County news desk that the fifth and final unpaid staff furlough day for county employees in 2010 will be Friday, September 3rd.
Rubio returns to St. Augustine for rally
Brian Iannucci, President of the Republican Club of Northwest St. Johns County announced to Historic City News that Marco Rubio is returning to St. Augustine to speak at a political rally scheduled later this month.

Abella has been teaching ballet around St. Johns County for years. After producing last year’s St. Augustine Community Nutcracker, he made the decision to open his own ballet studio and start The St. Augustine Community Ballet.
