Patti A. Christensen received a gubernatorial appointment today to fill the vacancy on the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court created by the retirement of Judge Edward E. Hedstrom, according to an announcement received by Historic City News.

DOT delays King Street improvements

Drainage improvements on King Street, between US-1 and Malaga Street, originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday will be postponed until January, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

Corona Road closes for about six months

St. Johns Count officials notified Historic City News that Corona Road in Ponte Vedra Beach will be closed to all vehicular traffic between Ponte Vedra Boulevard and Rutile Drive for approximately six months beginning September 13th.
