Paul K. Williamson, Public Affairs Director for the City of St. Augustine, reported to Historic City News that our readers will want to watch the latest edition of Florida Crossroads, this week on PBS, and other public, educational and government stations across the state.
This Sunday, October 23rd, you can catch the premier episode, “Florida Remembers: St. Augustine” at 11:30 a.m. on WUFT-Gainesville.
The program explores St. Augustine’s founding father, reflect on a bloody battle fought by freed slaves and dig deep with city archaeologist Carl Halbirt uncovering Florida’s historic past.
Williamson said that, according to information from the production staff, the program is being aired across North Florida.
The 28-minute narrated video was produced with support from the Florida Department of Education.
