Sydney Lindblad has invited Historic City News readers to apply as volunteers for the 2011 Sea Turtle Washback Program aimed at rescuing juvenile sea turtles that are washed onto the beach in seaweed, usually following a storm.
Flagler College reported to Historic City News that they have recently added four new members to their Board of Trustees; including two alumni and a former U.S. ambassador.

Historic City News has been informed that District 23 Medical Examiner Dr. Predag Bulic has been called in to identify and a determine what caused the death of a man whose body was discovered by law enforcement officers inside a Fruit Cove residence yesterday.
Historic City News has learned that St. Augustine Police Chief Loran K. Lueders needs help to enforce the City’s “no-camping” ordinance; since enforcement requires that alternative beds be available elsewhere.
