First Friday Art Walk

Historic City News readers are invited to enjoy the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at more than 20 galleries this evening when Art Galleries of St Augustine presents the popular “First Friday Art Walk” at member locations; open from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

One highlight for this month’s art walk includes the opening of “Photographic Expressions”, an exhibit of fine art photographs by Tom Tibbitts and Tom Brock at the Butterfield Garage Art Gallery located at 137 King Street in St Augustine. You can return to the gallery on Sunday and meet the photographers in person.

Old Town Trolleys offers free round-trips to the heart of the art district from the San Sebastian Winery, located at 157 King Street, or go on your own self-guided art walk.

Also tonight, the Second Anniversary of Plum Gallery, located at 9 Aviles Street; featuring a toast and new contemporary art exhibits. While you’re there, visit the new offerings and new look, including a beautiful new storefront mosaic, at Amiro Art & Found located at 9C Aviles Street. Next door, enjoy new paintings by Claire Kendrick at Worley Faver Gallery located at 11A Aviles Street.
