Katie Robshaw reported to Historic City News that Taylor Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in St Augustine recently received the 2012 President’s Award from Carrier for its quality, leadership and excellence in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry.
Recipients of this award were honored at a ceremony held in Orlando and exemplify Carrier’s model for operational excellence, business effectiveness and delivering the best in cutting-edge technology to consumers.
The President’s Award is designed to encourage self-analysis and reward dealers who have excelled in customer relations. This award presents the opportunity for recipients to serve as role models, share “best practices” and otherwise offer peer mentoring to help cultivate excellence across the dealer group.
Rebel Taylor, owner of the local dealership, said his company has logged numerous hours of local community service through foundations such as the Shriner’s Hospitals, Wildflower Free Health and Dental Clinic, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, Rotary Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity.
“This year’s recipients achieved their business goals while successfully representing Carrier to their communities and continually focusing on customer satisfaction,” said Chris Nelson, vice president, sales and marketing, Carrier Residential and Commercial Systems.
Taylor Refrigeration and Air Conditioning specializes in residential and commercial HVAC installations, indoor air quality solutions, as well as commercial refrigeration.
