Bike safety course part of Family Bike Rodeo

The Bicycle Patrol Unit of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reported to Historic City News that they will be offering a bike safety course this Saturday, April 20, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Ralph Carter Park.

Sheriff’s deputies will be setting up the free course adjacent to Rymfire School at 1385 Rymfire Drive in Palm Coast. Participants riding the course must wear helmets.

The course is being offered as part of the “Family Bike Rodeo” sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Palm Coast.

Flagler Beach Rotary will be accepting donations of serviceable bicycles. The “Bicycle Doctor” will conduct bike safety checks and the Frank Celico Foundation will be setting up the bike registration booth.
