Free disposal of household hazardous waste

300-SJC-LOGO-ARMS-HCMMilton Soto reported to Historic City News that St Johns County’s Solid Waste Management Department is hosting a “Super Community Collection Day” from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 23.

County residents are encouraged to bring household hazardous waste and electronics for disposal to the collection site located at 7200 CR-208 in St Augustine; near Wells and Sons Farms.

In addition, up to ten tires per household can be disposed of free of charge.

Yard debris, garbage, construction waste and other items generated by commercial activity will not be collected at this event.
