A search warrant was served this morning at 6481 San Pietro Isle in St Augustine, where Special Investigations Unit detectives, members of the Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team, and Special Weapons and Tactics deputies uncovered an active methamphetamine lab.
St Johns County Fire-Rescue personnel, trained in the safe handling of hazardous materials, assisted law enforcement officers at the scene.
The residents, 55-year-old Robert Dean Horsley, Sr. and 60-year-old Alison Lenore Walsh, both of St Augustine, were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a drug dwelling.
Both were transported to the St Johns County Detention Facility where they are being held without bond.
Several animals that were located in the home were taken by St Johns County Animal Control.
