St. Augustine local resident, Debbie Dell Sauls, says, unofficially, the “Best Sign” award at the annual Rhythm and Ribs festival goes to “Beware of Hog” and, as editor of Historic City News, I agree.
Debbie says she tried two rib sampler plates and that her choice is “Porky n’ Beans”; giving them a rating of “UM, good!”
Tonight’s performance by Rock-and-Roll Hall of Famer, Dave Mason, along with lots of tasty ribs and barbecue and plenty of children’s activities are part of the 15th Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival; produced by the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club.
Rhythm & Ribs takes place at Francis Field, located behind the historic Downtown Parking Facility on Castillo Drive in St. Augustine.
The festival hours are Saturday, 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Admission is $2 per person, except tonight; when it is $5. Enjoy non-stop music and award-winning scrumptious barbecue all weekend long. Kids 12 and under are free.
