George Waters, vice president of the Sea Oats Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, invited Historic City News readers to attend the August 20th meeting when their guest speaker will be local herbalist Laurence Layne.
The program this month is “Florida Ethno-botany” and is free and open to the public.
Tuesday’s presentation by Laurence Layne, founder of Healing Waters Clinic in St Johns County, promises to be very informative,” Waters told reporters. “Healing Waters Clinic was opened in 1994, and offers a broad range of multi-disciplinary holistic treatments; including an herbal pharmacy that sells bulk Chinese, Ayurveda and Western herbs to the public.
The local Sea Oats Chapter meets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 at the St Augustine Beach City Hall located at 2200 A1A South in St Augustine Beach.
