The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 am in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for the noon recess. Two five-story hotels, a proposed upgrade for the Quality Inn by owner Farid Ashdji to upgrade to a Hyatt Place, and, proposed new construction of the Ponce Hotel, Inc., by hotelier Kanti Patel, were rejected on first reading by the St Augustine City Commission tonight.
