As Historic City News in St Augustine saw, and reported, last month; St Johns County’s abusive and unacceptably overpaid administration has realized that they are in jeopardy of losing their choke-hold on the sock-puppets on the Board of County Commissioners who they have under their control.

A special opportunity is being offered to Historic City News readers who are St Johns County residents; one that comes around once every 125-years. Beginning on April 1st and continuing until December 31, 2014, take a docent-led tour of Flagler College, highlighting the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, while the admission charge has been waived.
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Dear Editor:
If Juan Ponce De Leon had only discovered La Florida 501 years later, he would have found all the gold he was looking for at the Julington Creek CDD.
