This election season, with its endless number of candidate forums, has made one thing clear. All of the new folks running for office seem to agree on many things.
Town and Gown Task Force named
Flagler College has invited Historic City News readers to attend the initial meeting of the 12-member Town and Gown Task Force — an initiative launched to develop a greater understanding and working relationship between Flagler College and the St. Augustine community.
Coming to a library near you – notary service
Notary services for basic documents will be available to Historic City News readers at the Main Library in St. Augustine, as well as the Bartram Trail, Hastings, and Southeast Branch Libraries beginning November 1st.

FDOT road repairs and maintenance report
Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Chef Chris Proulx, Aviles Restaurant at Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront, was selected as the People’s Choice Top Chef Thursday, Oct. 23, at Renaissance World Golf Village Resort during the Third Annual Flavors Top Chef Cook-off, a benefit for Home Again St. Johns.
